This privacy policy is effective as of 27 October 2026.

Introduction

This privacy policy explains how the MMA Live mobile app (the "Application") handles information. The Application is provided by DevEl Software ("we", "us", the "Service Provider"). It is free and supported by advertising. If you have any questions, contact us at dev.el.software.13@gmail.com.

You do not need to create an account or log in to use the Application, and we do not ask for your name, email address or other contact details in the Application.

What information is collected and how is it used?

The Application shows MMA events, fighters, results, odds and news. To do this, and to show ads, some information is sent from your device:

Through advertising (Google AdMob)

The Application uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to show banner ads. According to Google, the SDK automatically collects the following from the Application and shares it with Google, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:

The Application asks Google to show only non-personalized ads. These ads are based on general context (such as the app content and approximate location), not on a profile of your interests. Google may still use the information above to serve and measure ads, and to detect fraud and abuse. See "Third parties" below.

Our own servers

The Application loads MMA data from our own server. Like any internet service, our server receives your device's IP address and the request (for example, which events or fighters to load, or a fighter name you search for) in order to send back a response. We use your IP address briefly, in server memory, to limit excessive requests (rate limiting). We do not use it to identify you or work out your location, and we do not write it to our application logs.

Our server keeps basic operational logs (such as start-up messages and errors). These logs do not contain your IP address or the content of your requests, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.

News feeds

The News section loads articles directly from third-party websites (MMA Fighting, Bloody Elbow and MMA Weekly). When it does, those websites receive your IP address and standard request information, which they handle under their own privacy policies. Opening an article takes you to that website.

What we do not collect

The Application does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, files, precise location, health or financial information. It does not use analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own and does not send push notifications.

Favorites stored on your device

The fighters and promotions you follow are saved only on your device, in the Application's local storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. You can remove them in the Application at any time, and they are deleted when you uninstall the Application or clear its data.

Does the Application collect precise location?

No. The Application does not ask for permission to access your device's location and does not collect precise location. As described above, Google AdMob may estimate your approximate location (for example, your city or region) from your IP address in order to show relevant ads.

Third parties

We do not sell your information. The only third party that receives information collected through the Application is Google, through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described above. Google processes this information under its own policies:

Our server is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which processes data on our behalf as a hosting provider. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Controlling your advertising ID

You can reset or delete your device's advertising ID at any time:

You can also manage how Google personalizes ads at My Ad Center. You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information through the Application, contact us at dev.el.software.13@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

How long information is kept

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we process, and we keep the information we handle to a minimum. Information sent to Google AdMob is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Because the Application has no accounts and we do not store information linked to you, we usually hold no personal information we can find for a specific person. You can still contact us at dev.el.software.13@gmail.com with any request and we will respond within 30 days. For information held by Google AdMob, use the controls above or Google's privacy tools.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when the Application changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will also let you know in the Application or the app store listing.
